Nevada woman wins Jo’s Library Quilt

PR

Kara Pack of Henderson, Nev., was named the winner of the Library Quilt, conceived by Jo Garver, after a name-drawing Saturday.

Coalville resident Garver came up with the quilt idea to raise money for the new Coalville Library.

The quilt was comprised of panels autographed by best-selling authors such as Clive Cussler, Rosanne Cash, Jodi Picoult and Deen Koontz.

When the public donated funds for the library, they were eligible for an opportunity to win the quilt. The project raised more than $4,500 since spring, 2010. Scott Iwasaki
