Two smallish film festivals under the Occupy moniker are scheduled in Park City during the Sundance Film Festival.
One has been dubbed the Occupy Sundance Film Festival. It is scheduled from Saturday until Tuesday at the Park City Yoga Studio, 1662 Bonanza Drive.
It will run from 7:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. each of the festival nights. Screenings are free.
Promotional material bills the films as "the most inspiring movies from Occupy Wall St." The organizer said nine short movies will be screened each night. More information is available on the festival’s website, www.occupysundancefilmfestival.com .
The other is known as Occupy Sundance, running until Jan. 29. Screenings are scheduled from noon until 8 p.m. each night at Cisero’s on Main Street.
Promotional material says the festival "has absolutely no interest in disrupting" Sundance and wants to "augment and celebrate it." More information is available on its website. www.occupysundance.com .
