Burglaries reported in Park City

The Park City Police Department last week received a series of complaints about suspected burglaries, including cases involving vehicles and one on Main Street.

The cases included:

  • on Friday, Sept. 30 at 9:55 p.m., a suspected burglary was reported on Prospector Drive. Public police logs did not provide details.
  • on Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 5:22 p.m., the police were told someone had tampered with a vehicle's doors and a door had been forced open. The car, which was on Homestake Road, would not start afterward, the police were told. The Police Department classified the case as a suspected vehicle burglary.
  • on Sept. 28, a suspected theft was reported on Main Street at 2 p.m. Public police logs did not provide details about the losses, but the case occurred sometime in the week before the report to the police. The Police Department indicated there is video footage.
  • on Sept. 28, a watch was reportedly taken from a bag drop on Meadows Drive at 11:58 a.m. The police classified the case as a suspected theft.
  • on Tuesday, Sept. 27, a power washer, a saw and another tool were reportedly taken from a location along Jupiter View Drive at 1:06 p.m.
