On Sunday, April 20 at 4:55 a.m., the police attempted to arrest a person on Crescent Road. The person, who was driving a car, ran from the vehicle toward a nearby condominium, the police said. Public police logs did not provide details about why the police were pursuing the person.

Police officers on Sunday conducted a heavy round of traffic patrols, pulling over a series of drivers, including in Old Town and along the S.R. 224 entryway. Some of the stops occurred in the overnight hours, including along Main Street, Kearns Boulevard and S.R. 224.

On Saturday, April 19 at 10:52 p.m., a doorman at a Main Street nightclub flagged an officer down on the 200 block of Main Street to report someone might have had a fake identification.

At 9:28 p.m., the police were called to a parking lot along Sidewinder Drive, where a vehicle had been damaged. The police were told the person who filed the report and a friend earlier had argued with another person. When they returned to the vehicle, it was damaged, the police were told. The person who filed the report said the other person involved in the argument might have damaged the vehicle, according to police logs.

The police at 8:54 p.m. received a report from someone along Meadows Drive that a neighbor’s dog barked continuously. The person told the police the dog’s owner had been warned on prior occasions by Summit County Animal Control.

The Police Department and the Park City Fire District responded to a fire alarm along Empire Avenue at 6:49 p.m. The police said a cooking error in a break room triggered the alarm.

A dog was seen off a leash on the 700 block of Main Street at 6:29 p.m. The police warned the person verbally.

An unspecified alcohol offense was reported somewhere along Woodside Avenue at 6:16 p.m.

Someone or several people were rescued from an elevator on Lowell Avenue at 4:30 p.m.

The police at 2:40 p.m. received a complaint that eight estate-sale signs had been stolen along Silver Star Court. The police said an officer had found the signs to be in violation of City Hall rules. Park City code enforcement officers had removed them, the police said. The signs were returned to the person.

Three vehicles were seen parked on the sidewalk along the 500 block of Park Avenue at 9:42 a.m.

A man called the Police Department at 2:34 a.m. apparently demanding a ride home after his bicycle was stolen at the China Bridge garage. The person lives in Deer Mountain. The person sounded intoxicated, according to police logs.

On Friday, April 18 at 11:54 p.m., an assault was reported at a Main Street nightclub.

A suspected drunken driving case was reported along Aerie Drive at 10:46 p.m. Public police logs did not provide details.

A piece of rebar measuring three feet in length was reported to be in the road somewhere along Kearns Boulevard at 3:17 p.m. The police indicated the rebar was a traffic hazard.

Graffiti was found on a fence and a wall somewhere along Sidewinder Drive at 2:01 p.m.

At 12:59 p.m., the police received a report that parked vehicle had been sideswiped by another vehicle on the 600 block of Park Avenue. A witness left a note on the vehicle, the police said.

Trash bags were seen in the street along the S.R. 248 entryway at 10:31 a.m. An officer removed them.

At 6:23 p.m., the police received a report of a barking dog somewhere along Meadows Drive.

The police at 7:06 p.m. received a report of someone hearing noises like a shotgun or rifle blast along Empire Avenue. An officer found the noises were fireworks.

On Thursday, April 17 at 4:50 p.m., a car and trailer were reported to be parked across the sidewalk along Deer Valley Drive. They had been there for three days, the police were told.

At 1:40 p.m., three boys were reportedly seen shoveling snow into the street along Silver Lake Drive. They were building a jump, the police were told.

A dog was reported to be barking all night and day somewhere along Meadows Drive. It was a continual problem, the police were told. The person contacted the police at 7:16 p.m.

On Tuesday, April 15 at 8:28 p.m., a suspected shoplifter was detained on the 1500 block of Snow Creek Drive.

A dog was seen off a leash along Marsac Avenue at 6:06 p.m. An officer warned the person.

A designer wallet was reported lost along Deer Valley Drive at 11:10 a.m. It had $800 inside, the police were told. It disappeared on March 29.

On Monday, April 14 at 6 p.m., a man suspected of being intoxicated was seen passed out at or close to the intersection of Doc Holliday Drive and Little Bessie Avenue. Another man was there, the police were told. There was also a skateboard nearby.

A vehicle break-in was reported along Euston Drive at 4:13 p.m. The vehicle had been left unlocked in a driveway, the police were told. A global positioning system and a stereo system were taken, the police were told. The break-in occurred sometime between midnight and 8 a.m.

Someone reported finding $60 close to an elevator on the 200 block of Main Street at 4 p.m.

At 3:36 p.m., the police were called to the 300 block of Main Street, where a person was reportedly punched and kicked in the face the night before. The person went to a hospital with facial injuries, the police were told.

At 2:51 p.m., people riding scooters were seen in the City Park skate park. They were rude and in the way, the police were told.
