The Park City Police Department recently logged a few reports of people being spotted atop or close to the Masonic water tank, which is situated off Mellow Mountain Road.
The reports continued a string of similar incidents this summer at the site, which offers coveted views of Old Town and Park City Mountain Resort. People are prohibited from climbing atop the water tank. Police officers typically issue a trespassing warning if someone is found there.
On Saturday, Aug. 23 at 6:24 p.m., two people were seen on the tank. They were both foreigners, the police said. They left when asked. The day before, meanwhile, three people and a dog were seen on the water tank.
On Sunday, Aug. 17 at 4:52 p.m., three people were seen on the tank.

On Sunday, Aug. 24 at 3:43 a.m., the police were called to an unspecified location along Park Avenue, where teens in a van appeared to be intoxicated and were reported to be acting in a disorderly manner. The teens swore at an employee at a drive-thru window, the police were told.
At 1:02 a.m., a man reportedly refused to leave a nightclub somewhere along Main Street. The man attempted to start a fight with a bouncer, the police were told. The Police Department classified the case as suspected disorderly conduct.
On Saturday, Aug. 23 at 11:08 p.m., a house party was reported along American Saddler Drive. The people had tent and a live band, the police were told. The Police Department classified the case as disturbing the peace.
A person was suspected to be intoxicated at the Old Town transit center at 10:01 p.m. Public police logs did not provide details.
A hit-and-run traffic accident was reported in a parking lot somewhere along Little Kate Road at 3:38 p.m.
Kids driving go-carts were reportedly seen racing up and down the street on Daly Avenue at 11:06 p.m.
At 2:39 a.m., a driver hit a house on Quaking Aspen Court and left the scene on foot, the police were told. Public police logs indicated the driver was suspected to be drunk, but the logs did not provide details.
On Friday, Aug. 22 at 2:52 p.m., a man was reportedly seen sleeping close to a Dumpster on the 1500 block of Snow Creek Drive. The police classified the case as suspected intoxication. A bottle of alcohol was apparently seen nearby, according to police logs.
On Thursday, Aug. 21 at 2:05 a.m., a pane of glass, apparently at a bus stop, was found shattered on the 2200 block of Deer Valley Drive. The police classified the case as criminal mischief.
On Wednesday, Aug. 20 at 8:49 p.m., a wallet was found on or close to Iron Canyon Drive and turned in to the police.
On Tuesday, Aug. 19 at 3:09 a.m., a man reportedly attempted to steal beer on the 1700 block of Park Avenue.
On Monday, Aug. 18 at 7:07 p.m., a hit-and-run traffic accident was reported in a garage on the 700 block of Main Street.
At 6:57 p.m., the police received a call from Equestrian Way, where two or three men were reported to have hammocks in the bed of a pickup truck. The men were sleeping for an hour, the police were told. The Police Department said the circumstances were suspicious.
A vehicle was reportedly seen parked on the Rail Trail close to Prospector at 3:48 p.m. In an apparently unrelated case, a man at 1:59 p.m. was reportedly seen with a knife in the same vicinity. The police deemed the circumstances suspicious in both of the cases.
At 10:20 a.m., a pickup truck reportedly was seen idling for 10 minutes somewhere along Woodside Avenue.
