Vandals strike Park City: tires slashed, taillight and mirror smashed

The Park City Police Department last week received at least three vandalism reports involving vehicles.

The cases included:

  • on Sunday, March 23 at 8:51 a.m., someone on Homestake Road reported that it appeared tires had been slashed in the overnight hours.
  • on Saturday, March 22 at 5:24 p.m., a vehicle was reported to have been vandalized on the 1400 block of Kearns Boulevard. The vehicle was in a parking garage at the time, the police were told.
  • on Monday, March 17 at 11:53 p.m., a car that was parked in the China Bridge garage was reported to have been vandalized sometime between 5 p.m. and the complaint to the police. A taillight and at least one of the side mirrors were smashed, the police were told. It appeared the door panels had been kicked on the Audi, according to police logs.
