Vehicle and building break-ins reported in Park City

The Park City Police Department last week received reports of vehicle and building break-ins, indicating the losses included at least one television and golf clubs.

In one of the cases, reported on Swede Alley at 2:25 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 22, a property-management firm told the police a television and stereo equipment was missing in a suspected burglary. It was "obvious that the home has been rummaged through," the police were told, according to department logs. The police also said a bag of linens was found on the floor.

Some of the other cases last week included:

  • on Saturday, Sept. 24 at 8:11 p.m., someone reportedly broke into a vacant unit somewhere along Kearns Boulevard. The person was drinking and smoking, the police were told. The Police Department logged the case as trespassing.
  • on Friday, Sept. 23 at 10:04 p.m., someone on Little Kate Road reported a Ford Bronco had been broken into. At least one window had been broken, the police were told. Nothing was taken from inside, the police said.
  • on Thursday, Sept. 22 at 4:14 p.m., the police received a report that a backpack was stolen out of a vehicle on Iron Mountain Drive while the victim was on a hike.
  • on Sept. 22 at 10:28 a.m., someone on Three Kings Drive reported golf clubs were stolen during what was logged as a vehicle burglary.
