Sneak an advanced peek at new Harry Potter

"Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix," the latest iteration of the J.K. Rowling’s book on the silver screen, can be seen one day before it opens to the public. A benefit movie screening for the children of the Park City School District July 10 will be held at Holliday Village Cinemark Theaters at 1776 Park Ave. at 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $40 for adults and $20 for children. Box office changes location

Due to construction at The Eccles Center, the Park City Performing Arts Foundation has relocated its box office for the summer season. Until Labor Day, tickets to all PCPAF events will be available at the Phoenix Gallery (located at 508 Main Street, next to the post office) between 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The box office phone number will remain the same at (435) 655-3114.

Tickets for Big Stars, Bright Nights concerts are currently available online at http://www.parkcitytickets.com, through the PCPAF box office (relocating to the Phoenix Gallery) and at Deer Valley Signature Etc. stores (located at Deer Valley Resort and 625 Main Street).

Bikers by the thousands

Mountain Town Stages executive director Toby Martin expects that the Rocky Mountain Motorcycle Jam at The Canyons today, Saturday, July 7, will draw a crowd that exceeds 4,000.
