Park Silly Bazaar open for the holidays
December 2, 2011
Fans of Park Silly Sunday Market may want to check out the first annual Park Silly Holiday Bazaar on Dec. 3 and 4 at the Park City High School on Kearns Blvd. The bazaar will feature more than 100 local vendors from the summer and proceeds will go to benefit Park City high school programs.
"We plan on having this be an annual event," said event coordinator Ryan Colleen Cray. "A lot of times people want to know who a vendor was from the summer because something they saw could make a good Christmas gift."
Cray said the idea came up after locals kept approaching her asking about this vendor or that vendor, hoping to get something they saw last summer in time for the holidays.
"We’re trying to help the local economy by hosting this event," she said.
The upcoming weekend will be the only time this year the bazaar will be held with hours running from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. so that both early-bird shoppers and those enjoying some weekend skiing can make it.
Cray said she hopes the event will pull people in for some holiday spirit. The Park Silly Holiday Bazaar will feature Santa Claus, kids’ activities, live music and food and drinks.

"I think it’s a great way to get out and see people and help locals," Cray added. "It’s not like going to Salt Lake to some big chain store."
