PCMR v. Talisker: mediation extended until Sunday morning
Park City Mountain Resort and Talisker Land Holdings, LLC agreed to extend their mediation discussions until Sunday morning, the third time the two sides have widened the window for the talks.
The deadline is 10 a.m.
Ryan Harris, the 3rd District Court judge presiding over the case, ordered the sides into mediation in June in an attempt to settle the high-profile lawsuit. Harris at that time set a deadline of Aug. 15.
The first extension of mediation ran from Aug. 15 until Aug. 24. The next one closed on Friday.
The two sides have not released details about the mediation discussions, saying the talks are private under Utah law.
The extension from Friday until Sunday came two days after an important hearing in the case centered on the amount of a bond PCMR would be required to post as it appeals the case. Harris delayed setting an amount and scheduled another hearing on Wednesday.
