The police last week also responded to numerous complaints about people lighting fireworks. The cases lasted through the week, including a series of reports on Independence Day itself. Locations included the Snow Park Lodge parking lots, in the vicinity of the Town Bridge, Iron Horse Loop, Little Kate Road and in the field outside the Park City Library and Education Center.

Other incidents reported to the Police Department last week included:

On Sunday, July 10 at 11:34 p.m., someone reported seeing water surfacing from a manhole cover on Royal Street.

At 11:17 p.m., the police were called to the 300 block of Main Street after receiving a complaint about loud music. The music was coming from a business and it had been an ongoing problem, the police were told.

Water was seen flowing out of a manhole cover on Aster Lane at 7:14 p.m.

The police received a complaint at 5:36 p.m. that several people were loitering and riding skateboards close to the entrance of a garage on the 700 block of Main Street.

A wallet was reportedly stolen from a table on the 800 block of Main Street sometime before 4:53 p.m. Public police logs did not provide details, including what the wallet contained and how long the wallet was left on the table.

At 9:37 p.m., the police were told shuttle drivers were driving at high rates of speed through the neighborhood in the vicinity of Gilt Edge Circle. The shuttles serve a hotel, the police were told.

The police were summoned to the 400 block of Main Street at 12:54 a.m., when a fight was reported. An ambulance was called to the scene as well. Public police logs did not provide details about injuries. One of the people involved would be on a nearby bench, the police were told.

A suspected intoxication case was reported on the 400 block of Main Street at 1:47 a.m. The people left in a taxi, the police said.

On Saturday, July 9 at 5:35 p.m., the police were alerted that a driver on S.R. 224 was in the bicycle lane. The driver was southbound in a Honda Civic, the police were told.

On Friday, July 8 at 4:03 p.m., a bicycle was reported stolen from someone on the 200 block of Main Street. The bicycle disappeared on July 4, the police were told.

A dog was left in a vehicle on the 1300 block of Lowell Avenue at 1:40 p.m. The police were told the dog appeared to be distressed.

On Thursday, July 7, the Park City Fire District rescued people from an elevator on the 600 block of Deer Valley Loop Road. Public police logs did not provide details about the number of people inside or the type of building where the elevator malfunctioned.

At 2:49 p.m., someone reported that a surfboard had been stolen on Empire Avenue.

On Wednesday, July 6 at 8:33 p.m., someone on Butch Cassidy Court reported a house had been burglarized. Public police logs did not provide details.

A mailbox was reportedly vandalized sometime before 11:11 a.m. The mailbox is on Holiday Ranch Loop Road.

On Tuesday, July 5 at 5:07 p.m., the police received a call from the 1700 block of Bonanza Drive, where two dogs were seen left inside a vehicle. They appeared to be in distress, the police were told.

A bicycle red and designed to be ridden on roads was reported stolen from the 1800 block of Kearns Boulevard at 2:09 p.m. It was not clear when the bicycle was taken, the police were told.

On Monday, July 4 at 11:16 a.m., a corporate checkbook was reported stolen from Solamere Drive.
