On Sunday, July 17 at 11:50 p.m., graffiti was discovered at the intersection of Kearns Boulevard and Comstock Drive. The police classified the case as suspicious, but public police logs did not provide details.

A woman was reportedly seen sleeping close to a pine tree on the 2000 block of Prospector Avenue at 11:38 p.m. The woman was close to a condominium complex, the police said.

People were seen shooting fireworks off in the vicinity of the soccer field off Kearns Boulevard close to the Park City School District campus. The Police Department received a report about the fireworks at 9:46 p.m.

A driver backed into another vehicle on Captain Molly Drive at 5:36 p.m., the police were told.

At 8:45 a.m., the police received a complaint that water was gushing from a broken sprinkler line on Windrift Lane. The Water Department was called.

The police were called to Pinnacle Drive at 2:14 a.m., when someone reported a burglary might be occurring. The person who contacted the police heard noises, police logs indicated. The police said nobody was inside the place.

A taxi driver contacted the police at 2:10 a.m., when a passenger reportedly refused to leave the vehicle on the 2100 block of Park Avenue. The police were told the passenger refused to pay as well. The passenger might have been intoxicated, the police said.

A bicycle was reported as stolen on Iron Horse Drive at 12:17 a.m. It is painted gray and had lights on the front and back, the police were told. The bicycle disappeared approximately 10 minutes before the police were contacted.

On Saturday, July 16 at 9:32 a.m., the police received a report from someone on Woodside Avenue that a red marker was used on a windshield of a parked vehicle. It was not clear when the windshield was vandalized.

A police officer warned someone for having a dog off a leash at 9:30 a.m. on the Rail Trail close to Prospector.

At 1:43 a.m., the police demanded people leave a balcony on the 300 block of Main Street. It was not clear from public police logs what spurred the demand by the police.

A fight was reported at 1:10 a.m. on the 600 block of Main Street. One of the people involved might have been wearing dark-colored clothing, the police were told.

On Friday, July 15 at 10:25 p.m., the police received a complaint that someone threw an object through the front glass doors of a building on the 2000 block of Sidewinder Drive. The police were told the object appeared to be an apple.

A driver hit a deer at the Aerie Drive-Golden Way intersection at 9:07 p.m.

Someone reported at 5:39 p.m. that a mountain bike was stolen from the 2200 block of Deer Valley Drive. The bicycle disappeared approximately 40 minutes before the police were contacted, the Police Department was told.

A dog was seen in a vehicle with the windows closed on the 1600 block of Bonanza Drive at 3:42 p.m.

The police were called to the skate park at City Park at 1:39 p.m. by a 13-year-old who informed dispatchers that other kids were throwing fireworks at the 13-year-old’s group. Two people were throwing the fireworks but then left, the police were told.

On Thursday, July 14 at 10:43 p.m., four adults and a child were reportedly seen lighting fireworks on Deer Valley Drive.

On Wednesday, July 13 at 6:58 p.m., kids were seen riding bicycles in the skate park. They left. Bicycles are prohibited in the skate park, but young people are often seen riding them in the park.

On Tuesday, July 12 at 8:47 p.m., two boys were seen with what appeared to be pellet guns on Thaynes Canyon Drive. The weapons were outfitted with scopes, the police were told. They were seen close to the second hole at the Park City Golf Club, according to police logs. The police were told the boys might be targeting ducks. The police classified the case as suspicious, but public police logs did not provide details.

At 7:50 a.m., someone complained that $1,000 was stolen out of a room on Lowell Avenue.
