UTAH AVALANCHE CENTER

The Utah Avalanche Center is issuing intermittent advisories at http://www.utahavalanchecenter.org and on its toll-free hotline, 1-888-999-4019. Hikers, snowshoers, early skiers and riders, and hunters still heading into the high country should avoid steep blanketed and drifted slopes in the higher elevations. This includes the Wasatch and Bear River ranges, the Wasatch Plateau, and particularly the Uinta Mountains, which seem primed for the greatest accumulations and wind.
