Fat Tuesday Food Drive & Pancake Supper
Drop by Shepherd of the Mountains Lutheran Church on Tuesday, Feb. 16, for a traditional Mardi Gras pancake supper from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Bring nonperishable food items for the community food pantry and in return, indulge in piles of pancakes. All are welcome. Laissez les bon temps roulez!
One-day locals’ sale for Deer Valley Music Fest
Utah Symphony | Utah Opera will offer a one-day sale to Summit County residents for the 2010 Deer Valley Music Festival on Tuesday, Feb. 16. Discounted general admission tickets are available from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. and can be purchased in-person at the Gateway Center Ticket Office (136 Heber Avenue, Park City). Big Easy blues at the Egyptian
The Egyptian Theatre brings the Mardi Gras party to Park City with "Papa Mali: Do you know what it means to miss New Orleans?" on Friday, Feb. 19. Mali’s swamp funk blends the back-alley sounds of New Orleans with a bluesy Austin, Texas, feel. The concert will bring a bit of the Big Easy to Main Street. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8. Tickets are $18 in advance, $20 at the door, and $25 for cabaret seating and can be purchased by calling 649-9371 or at www.parkcityshows.com.
