Swaner EcoHost training sessions
Would you like to volunteer as an EcoHost for the Swaner EcoCenter? Upcoming training sessions will prepare volunteers to staff the EcoCenter front desk, give tours of one of the greenest buildings in Utah, and help visitors explore the exhibits. This is a fun opportunity to work with a great group of people, support environmental conservation, and spread awareness in our community. Trainings are scheduled Saturday, Feb. 6, and Wednesday, Feb. 10, from 10 a.m. to noon. You only need to attend one. Please RSVP to Glenda at 640-7722 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Haiti yoga fundraiser
Gallery MAR and lululemon athletica will host a yoga practice in the gallery on Monday, Feb. 8, at 9 a.m. with instructor Lauren Lockey. Your donation for this class ($5 suggested) goes to benefit Haiti relief efforts through Direct Relief International. Learn more at www.directrelief.org .
Newcomers’ Monthly Coffee Meeting
The Park City Newcomers’ Club hosts a monthly coffee meeting for members and those who are new to town. On Wednesday, Feb. 10, the meeting will be a field trip to the People’s Health Clinic.
