The Julie Nester Gallery, 1280 Iron Horse Dr., will present an exhibit of photographs by the late Tim Hetherington from Thursday, Jan. 17, through Wednesday, Jan. 30. The exhibit runs parallel to the premiere of "Which Way to the Front Line from Here? The Life and Time of Tim Hetherington" at the Sundance Film Festival. The photographs were taken in West Africa and the Middle East. Hetherington was killed on April 20, 2011, while photographing and filming in Libya. Panel Discussion at the Filmmaker Lodge
The Filmmaker Lodge, 550 Main St., will host "Turning the Tide," a panel discussion about how storytelling can help change the discourse on hot-button topics such as immigration and economy, on Friday, Jan. 18, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. The event is open to all Sundance Film Festival credential holders and the public as space allows.
