Parade entries

Entries are still needed for the 113th Annual Miner’s Day Parade on Monday, Sept. 6. The line-up begins at 10 a.m. in Swede Alley and the parade begins at 11 a.m. Download an entry form at or call Joe Rametta at 640-1745.

Used Book Sale

The Friends of the Park City Library sponsors the annual Used Book Sale in the Jim Santy Auditorium throughout Labor Day weekend. Hours are Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Monday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Proceeds go toward funding the library’s literacy programs for adults and children, as well as helping to strengthen library services and its collection of books.

Kimball classes

The fall schedule at the Kimball Art Center includes exciting opportunities for discovering the artist within. Upcoming classes include Autumn Leaves in Metal Clay; Edible Art; Mini Masters; Encaustic Painting for Adults; Fashion Design; Feng Shui; and Studio Drawing for Teens. Thriller auditions

Odyssey Dance Theatre is looking for young dancers to participate in "Thriller." Auditions for ages 9 to 13 will be held Friday, Sept. 10, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Pointe Performing Arts Academy in Highland.
