See ‘The Vagina Monologues’ at Eccles
February 9, 2008
Katie Eldridge reads one of Eve Ensler’s monologues in "Vagina Monologues" at the Eccles Center in 2006.
"The Vagina Monologues," an Obie Award-winning episodic play, will return to the Eccles Center tomorrow night, Sunday, Feb. 10 at 7:30 p.m. This will mark the third year the Park City Performing Arts Foundation has presented the show alongside thousands of other V-Day events which annually take place throughout the world. Ensler’s monologues are updated each year to provide new insights and commentary on worldwide women’s issues. The purpose of the celebration is to spread awareness about the reality of violence against women and girls. The scripts will be read aloud by local women. For more information about V-Day, visit vday.org.
Tickets are $18 to $30. All ticket sales will benefit The Peace House, Summit County’s shelter for victims of domestic abuse.
