Racquet Club National tournament

The Park City Racquet Club will host the Mens’ National 45s Indoor Championships on Monday, Nov. 9 through Friday, Nov. 13. Players age 45 or up from all over the country will be traveling to Park City to compete for the gold tennis ball. The tournament is the last of four national championships held throughout the year. The Racquet Club will host a player/patron potluck social that all residents are invited to attend at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10. Ski swap

The 37th annual Park City Ski Swap and sale kicked off Friday, Nov. 6, at the Basin Recreation Fieldhouse. The swap continues Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is $8 on Friday night, $5 on Saturday and $2 on Sunday. Kids 12 and under are free. Pick-up for unsold equipment is from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Proceeds from the swap benefit the Park City Ski Team. For more information, call 649-8749 or visit http://www.parkcityskiteam.org .

Skate for a plate

The Park City Speedskating Club is hosting a food drive/fun skate event on Wednesday, Nov. 11, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Please bring non-perishable food items for the local food bank in exchange for free admission. After a short speedskating demonstration, there will be participation in games and turkey relays. Bring the family! Helmet, gloves, long sleeves and long pants are required.
