Fiesta de Invierno
Skate with Santa and enjoy games, crafts and goodies for free at the Fiesta de Invierno at the Park City Ice Arena on Friday, Dec. 11, 2-4 p.m. This event is sponsored by the United Way, Holy Cross Ministries, Park City Recreation and the Park City Museum and hosted by the Park City Ice Arena. Drop-in Futsal will begin on Dec. 6 on Sundays from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Park City Racquet Club. This is a fast-moving indoor soccer game for adults 18 and older. Cost is $6 per person each week. Turkey Trot 5K
Registration is being accepted for the second annual 5K Turkey Trot Fun Run. The race will begin on Thursday, Nov. 26, at 8:30 a.m. at the LDS Stake Center, 2300 Monitor Dr., Park City. Entry fee is three non-perishable food items that will benefit the Christian Center Food Pantry. Pre-register at http://www.parkcityturkeytrot.com.

Itty bitty basketball
Registration for the Itty Bitty Junior Kitty basketball for boys and girls in first and second grades will be taken at the South Summit Aquatic & Fitness Center Nov. 23-Dec. 12. Games will start on Jan. 12. The cost is $22 and includes a 30-minute instructional period followed by a game. Volunteer coaches are needed. For more information, call 783-2423.
Park City Racquet Club is offering Toddler Time beginning Dec. 1. The classes will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9-11 a.m. Cost is $2 per child and an adult must attend. Kids will run and have fun with padded mats, foam balls, hula hoops, an obstacle course, and play on a bounce house. SSAFC Junior Jazz
South Summit Aquatic & Fitness Center is now offering the Junior Jazz program to kids in third through ninth grades. Cost ($22 per child) covers a Jazz jersey, Utah Jazz player appearance and a ticket to a Utah Jazz game. Games will begin on Jan. 9. Boys and girls will play on separate teams on Saturdays. Luge officials’ course
The United States Luge Association along with the Wasatch Luge Club will be holding a National Officials’ Course Dec. 11-12 for anyone interested in becoming involved in the sport of luge and helping with local programs. This course is designed for those with no prior knowledge in the sport and teaches basic rules that are required to run any level of luge competition. Registration deadline is Nov. 26. PC Junior Jazz
Basin Recreation is offering the Junior Jazz youth basketball program in Park City for boys and girls in third through eighth grades.
