Due to assessed decreased property values by the Summit County Assessor’s office, the property tax rate for Summit County will increase in order to keep the amount paid in property taxes the same.

The certified property tax rate will increase from $89.5 per $100,000 taxable property value to $92.4 per $100,000 taxable property value.

Mountainlands Community Housing Trust is pleased to announce the completion of its 63 Mutual Self Help Home and 135th home overall since 2002. There will be an Open House to celebrate the completion of Phase Eight of the Mutual Self Help Program on Tuesday, July 26th at 4 p.m., 325 South 125 West in Kamas.
