With all the weekly and special events this summer, there isn’t any excuse not to hit the trails. Weekly events from trail runs to cruiser-bike rides will begin in June and can offer motivation, companionship and the chance to check out some new trails. Special events like the Mid-Mountain Marathon and the International Mountain Bicycling Association World Summit can give you something to train for and a good excuse to get out on the trails or roads week after week.
The Tuesday night trail runs, which began June 3, depart from the gazebo in City Park to various trails in Park City at 6 p.m. More information is available at mountaintrails.org.
