Cheap chic furniture with compassion
The Christian Center of Park City runs a fantastic furniture thrift store in Heber City. Being a new Summit County resident, I had a whole apartment to furnish. I was able make my entire place look and feel great, shopping at the CCPC store. The staff were extremely helpful. The selection of furnishings beats anything I've ever seen, and I've shopped for cheap chic all my life. Their prices are so great, I managed to get everything I needed for less than the cost of one retail couch!
Lamps of all sizes, mirrors, beds, overstuffed chairs, wine glasses—all came from CCPC. I would encourage everyone to support their humanitarian mission by shopping at their thrift store. It's a wonderful resource with a food bank right there.
The store is a little tricky to find. It's just east of Main Street, between Center Street and 200 North, in a strip mall shared with Heber Park City Appliance. Let the staff show you their favorite finds. What a great community service, and a treasure hunter's paradise!
The CCPC website lists all of their community programs and events: http://www.ccofpc.org/.

Donate to PCHS Grad Night
On Friday, June 6, over 300 seniors will be graduating from Park City High School. To honor these students and their accomplishments, the PCHS PTSO will continue the tradition of hosting the official "Grad Night Celebration," but we need your help to ensure an unforgettable party. This is a fun, safe, alcohol/drug-free celebration and it's FREE to all graduating seniors from Park City High School, the Park City Winter School and Park City home schooled students.
This year, Grad Night will be held on June 6, from 10 p.m.-2 a.m. at Jupiter Bowl. The exciting evening will be filled with: A hypnotist show, TapSnap photos, music, entertainment, "Bowling for Dollars," swag bags, food and beverages, casino games, and lots of prizes.
While the evening is free to all graduates, we rely solely on donations (both monetary and gifts) from senior class parents and local businesses. Support at any level will help make this a special night for our Park City seniors. We appreciate your consideration of a tax-deductible donation and/or gift items that can be given away to the graduating seniors during this special event.
Parents who make a cash donation by MAY 6 will be entered into a drawing for reserved seating during the graduation ceremony.
And of course, please encourage your senior graduate to attend!
If you have any questions about donations or participating in Grad Night, please contact Sue Ann Kern at firstname.lastname@example.org
Way to go, kiddos!
