Park City Film Series: "Made in Utah Film Weekend"

The Park City Film Series will present the "Made in Utah Film Weekend," which celebrates films that were made in Utah or have Utah connections, on Friday, Feb. 1, through Sunday, Feb. 3, at the Jim Santy Auditorium at the Park City Library and Education Center, 1255 Park Ave. Friday's screening of Gregg Godfrey's "Nitro Circus" will begin at 8 p.m. Saturday's screening of Ryan Little's "Saints and Soldiers: Airborn Creed" will start at 8 p.m. Sunday's film, Ronald Donaldson's "The World's Fastest Indian," will start at 6 p.m. There will be a question-and-answer session following each screening. Pete Young Benefit Concert

Peace Kahuna will perform a benefit concert for Pete Young, a Park City musician who is suffering from throat cancer, on Saturday, Feb. 2, at 7:30 p.m. The concert will take place at 7303 Pineridge Dr. at Upper Pinebrook. Author Event at Dolly's Bookstore: Jana Richman

Writer Jana Richman, author of "The Ordinary Truth," will be at Dolly's Bookstore, 510 Main St., on Saturday, Feb. 2, at 3 p.m. for a book signing. Richman will also read from the book that uses the recently approved Nevada pipeline, which would pump water from the desert valleys of Eastern Nevada and Western Utah to Las Vegas, as the main component of conflict in the novel. Park City Culinary Institute Registration

The Park City Culinary Institute is now accepting registration for its upcoming programs.
