Flags along Kearns Boulevard mark water line route

by Jay Hamburger The Park Record

Crews prepping for a major City Hall waterworks project planned for 2013 have marked part of the route where a water line will be installed along the S.R. 248-Kearns Boulevard entryway.

The flags show the location where there are currently underground utility lines.

The water line that will be installed next year will run from Wyatt Earp Way to a water tank in Empire Canyon. The line linking Wyatt Earp Way to the water-treatment plant close to Quinn’s Junction has already been installed.

The two segments will be joined and operational in 2014.
