Taxi drivers or dispatchers from taxi companies contacted the Park City Police Department at least twice last week reporting problems with passengers.

On Sunday, April 14, a suspected intoxication case was reported at 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of Heber Avenue and Main Street. The police said a taxi driver flagged down an officer, but it was not clear from public police logs whether the person suspected to be intoxicated was in the taxi.

Earlier that night, at 1:35 a.m., the police were called to a location along Park Avenue, where a person reportedly refused to pay a taxi fare. The person was "kind of confrontational," the police were told. The Police Department indicated the dispute appeared to be civil in nature rather than criminal.
