The Park City Police Department conducted a heavy round of traffic enforcement late Saturday night and early Sunday morning, a busy night in Park City as ski crowds and people celebrating St. Patrick's Day early descended on the city.
At least eight traffic stops were reported between 12:08 a.m. and 1 a.m. on Sunday, March 16, including along Deer Valley Drive, Swede Alley and Kearns Boulevard. In the hour before, between 11:02 a.m. and 11:49 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, at least eight traffic stops were reported. The drivers were stopped on streets like S.R. 224 and Kearns Boulevard.
There was a series of other stops earlier on March 15 as well. Public police logs did not provide details about the traffic stops.

On Sunday, March 16 at 2:57 p.m., someone reported that water was seeping out of what is apparently a public restroom along Holiday Ranch Loop Road. The person went to the fire station on the street to report the case. The restrooms were locked, the police were told.
A van and a minivan reportedly collided on Ridge Point Drive, a small street in Deer Valley, at 1:17 p.m. Nobody was injured and airbags were not triggered, the police were told.
A manhole cover became dislodged in a bicycle lane along the 2300 block of Monitor Drive at 10:35 a.m. The police indicated it created a traffic hazard.
At 1:19 a.m., a police officer assisted a Utah Highway Patrol trooper with a traffic stop involving a suspected drunken driver on Park Avenue at or close to the intersection with Snow Creek Drive.
At 12:33 a.m., a vehicle was seen parked in the middle of the street in the vicinity of the intersection of Sidewinder Drive and Wyatt Earp Way. The police indicated the circumstances were suspicious.
On Saturday, March 15 at 10:48 p.m., the police received a report that a wallet was taken out of a purse on Deer Crest Estates Drive. A driver license, three credit cards and several hundred dollars in cash were inside, the police were told.
At 5:35 p.m., the police were called to a location somewhere along Empire Avenue after receiving a report that a vehicle had been moved. It was last seen at 8:30 a.m., the police were told. The police said the victim indicate a friend moved the vehicle and still had the keys. The police classified the case as suspected auto theft.
The police at 5:38 p.m. received a complaint that a vehicle with New York license plates was parked in front of the caller's house. The vehicle did not display the proper permit to park there, the police were told. The person wanted the vehicle ticketed. The caller was somewhere along Park Avenue.
At 3:15 p.m., a scooter rider and a bicyclist were reportedly seen in the City Park skate park. The person who contacted the police nicely asked them to leave, the police were told. They did not leave, however.
At 10:24 a.m., the police received a report that sunglasses were stolen from a locker room on the 2200 block of Deer Valley Drive. A police report was needed as evidence for a protection plan, the police indicated.
Two men, possibly juveniles, who appeared to be intoxicated were spotted somewhere along Monitor Drive at 1:04 a.m. They were wandering in and out of traffic, the police were told.
On Friday, March 14 at 10:26 p.m. a dog was seen left tied to a pickup truck bed on the 900 block of Park Avenue. It was howling, the police were told.
At 5:58 p.m., the police received a report that at least one window was broken out of a vehicle along Kearns Boulevard. It was parked close to PC Hill, the police were told. The damage occurred within 40 minutes of the report, the police were told.
A police surveillance camera captured images of six youngsters sitting atop a water tank off Mellow Mountain Road at 5:26 p.m. A police officer who responded found them with blankets enjoying the view, the police said.
A carbon monoxide detector apparently sounded on Eagle Point Court at 11:41 a.m. The Park City Fire District also responded.
Graffiti was found on a waterworks facility off Daly Avenue at 9:46 a.m.
On Thursday, March 13 at 10:02 p.m., water was reportedly seen gushing from below a sidewalk on the 700 block of Park Avenue. The water might be coming from a main break, the police indicated.
On Wednesday, March 12 at 10:47 p.m., a man was reported to be harassing a driver or a passenger in a van. The man was talking to them about concerns about an idling vehicle, the police were told.
At 2:07 p.m., the police received a report of an accident involving a bicyclist and a vehicle at or close to the intersection of Kearns Boulevard and Comstock Drive. The accident apparently occurred five days prior to the police report. The person did not have information about the driver, the police said.
At 11:21 a.m., four tires were reportedly stolen from a garage somewhere along Park Avenue. The police were told the tires were valued at approximately $600.
A moose was seen at the Marsac Avenue-Hillside Avenue intersection at 11:01 a.m.
A loud party was reported at 2:17 a.m. somewhere along Sidewinder Drive.
On Tuesday, March 11 at 2:43 p.m., youngsters were seen setting up a snowboard ramp off Marsac Avenue.
The police at 9:12 a.m. received a report of a rental suspected to be fraudulent somewhere along Woodside Avenue. The person rented the place online and sent money, the police were told.
