The Park City Police Department last week responded to a series of incidents along Main Street and elsewhere involving people suspected to be intoxicated or otherwise creating problems while partying.
The cases come toward the end of the ski season, and there have been numerous similar complaints in recent weeks.
Some of the cases last week included: on Sunday, April 6 at 3:30 a.m., someone along Captain Molly Drive contacted the police reporting a loud party. The person told the police parties happen frequently there. on April 6 at 1:16 a.m., an unspecified disorderly conduct case was reported on the 600 block of Main Street. Eight minutes prior to the report, the police conducted a random check of a nightclub on the same block. At 12:27 a.m., meanwhile, a case logged as disorderly conduct was reported on the block. on April 6 at 12:28 a.m., someone was suspected to be intoxicated in a nightclub on the 400 block of Main Street. They refused to leave, the police were told. on Saturday, April 5 at 10:22 p.m., a hot tub party was reported on Sunnyside Drive. on April 5 at 4:53 a.m. a loud party was reported in a lodging property somewhere along Empire Avenue. The management asked the people in the room to quiet down, but they refused, the police were told.
The cases last week continue a length stretch of rowdiness and drunkenness along Main Street. The number of reports has fallen since the busy spring break stretch, though.
