The Park City Memorial 5K was held by the Park City Foundation, with the help of the PCHS National Honor Society, for the Park City 5 Memorial fund Monday, May 26, at 9 a.m. Runners participated in memory of the five PCHS students and alumni who lost their lives in 2008 as well as other fallen members of the Park City community.

"Being a member of the National Honor Society, you get a lot of opportunities to help people out," said Beau Milkis, a PCHS junior and NHS member. "It's just a good thing to do."

The Dozier Field track was lined with posters memorializing the "Park City 5," which includes PCHS students and alumni Mike Pennels, Connie Blount, Matt Knoop, Erica Knell and Chris Yeates. Other community members remembered were former teacher Chris Maddux, former member of the Peace House Board of Directors Mike Lee and PCHS alum Ryan Andrew Taylor Smith, among many others.
