On Sunday, Aug. 10, the Park City Police Department reported numerous parking issues, particularly along Park Avenue in Old Town.

The organizers of the Tour of Utah bicycle race were preparing for the final stage of the race later that day. The tour ended on Main Street. The street was closed to traffic for the day. At least some of the parking problems apparently resulted in vehicles being towed, according to police logs.
