On Sunday, Nov. 23 at 11:43 a.m., a driver reportedly ran over a mailbox somewhere along Aspen Springs Drive. The driver also hit a tree, the police said.

The police were called to Mountain Lane at 6:01 a.m., when someone reportedly was using a snowblower. The person using the snowblower was apparently finished and leaving at about the same time, according to police logs. The Police Department classified the case as disturbing the peace.

On Saturday, Nov. 22 at 7:08 p.m., a hit-and-run traffic accident was reported somewhere along Kearns Boulevard. The accident occurred outside the victim’s workplace. The police said the person did not realize the vehicle had been hit until after arriving at home.

Two men reportedly attempted to break into a vehicle in the China Bridge garage at 5:58 p.m. The police classified the circumstances as suspicious.

Someone reported the back window of a vehicle had been smashed on Norfolk Avenue at 4:37 p.m. The rear hatch had been dented, the police were told. The Police Department classified the case as criminal mischief.

A truck crashed into a sign on Three Kings Drive at 3:05 p.m., the police were told. Nobody was injured and the vehicle was not blocking the road, the police said. Public police logs did not provide details about the sign.

Large boxes were reported to be blowing onto the street in the vicinity of the intersection of Kearns Boulevard and Woodbine Way at 9:02 a.m. They presented a traffic hazard, the police said.

On Friday, Nov. 21, at 8:58 a.m., the police received a complaint that couches and other furniture had been left at a location on Woodbine Way in the overnight hours. The place where the furniture was left does not accept the items, the police were told.

At 7:28 a.m., the police received a report that a vehicle had been hit in the overnight hours on Ina Avenue. The vehicle was parked outside a residence. The Police Department indicated the case was a hit-and-run accident.

On Thursday, Nov. 20, at 7:34 p.m., a vehicle parked in a parking lot was reported to have been hit in the overnight hours on Lower Iron Horse Loop Road. The police indicated the case was a hit-and-run accident. A neighbor witnessed the accident, the police said.

On Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 11:49 p.m., two dogs were reported to be in the road at or close to the intersection of S.R. 224 and Meadows Drive. The police indicated the dogs presented a traffic hazard.

At 3:25 p.m., people were reported to be building a snow jump close to the road along Hawkeye Place. The police indicated the jump presented a traffic hazard.

On Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 4:47 p.m., a hit-an-run traffic accident was reported on Lower Iron Horse Loop Road. Public police logs did not provide details.

The Police Department conducted a series of traffic stops in the 2 p.m. hour, including along Holiday Ranch Loop Road. There was also a series of traffic stops earlier that day, including some on Round Valley Drive.

On Monday, Nov. 17 at 12:05 p.m., the police received a report that a person was punched at a party somewhere along Park Avenue. The person wanted to learn about the timeframe for filing a police report.
