About RSS Feeds
RSS feeds, otherwise known as Real Simple Syndication offer a way to subscribe to specific news services and have headlines delivered to your computer as they are posted. There is no cost to subscribe to The Park Record's new RSS feed service and it ensures you won't miss an important breaking news headline, or a story in your favorite section.
How to subscribe
First, install a newsreader program (a
list of options is available here) or check to see whether your internet browser already accepts RSS-compatible feeds (two
options: Mozilla's
Firefox and Apple's
Safari) to subscribe to any or all of these feeds for free. To get started, click on one of the RSS links below and then
copy and paste that web address into your newsreader.
How to check for new feeds
Once you've subscribed, the latest headlines, story leads and links
are automatically listed in your reader the moment they are published. Your newsreader offers options about how the feeds are displayed.
