Free E-waste Recycling and Open House
Recycle Utah, 1951 Woodbine Way, will celebrate America Recycles Day with on Thursday, Nov. 15, and will recycle all electronic waste for free from at 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. In addition, it will host an open house from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. for the public to see the vastly improved warehouse re-use center. Author Event at Dolly's Bookstore: Dylan Tomine
Dylan Tomine, author of "Closer to the Ground: An Outdoor Family's Year on the Water, in the Woods and at the Table," will be at Dolly's Bookstore, 510 Main St., to sign his book on Friday, Nov. 16, at 6:30 p.m. The book follows Tomine and his family through the four seasons as they hunt, fish, dig for clams and gather at the kitchen table to enjoy the fruits of their labor. Locals Free Day at the Park City Museum
The Park City Museum, 528 Main St., will host a Locals Free Day on Friday, Nov. 16. The public is encouraged to visit the museum and see the various exhibits, including the traveling "Line Drives and Lipstick: The Untold Story of Women's Baseball."
