Park City's summer events not only bring revenue and visitors to town, but also give residents opportunities to volunteer.

Here are three organizations that need additional help.

  • The Park City Kimball Arts Festival is the biggest fundraiser for the Kimball Art Center. Proceeds from this three-day event that runs from Aug. 2 through Aug. 4, allow the KAC to keep its Museum Exhibits and Art Talks free and open to the public all year.

The festival needs 400 volunteers throughout the weekend. Volunteers get a free weekend pass to the festival, a gift bag, t-shirt, gift certificate for a massage, an invitation to a volunteer appreciation party and lunch and snacks throughout the day served in the volunteer lounge. The shifts are divided into four-hour segments. For more information or to sign up, visit www.kimballartcenter.org/volunteer

  • Also, the Bicycle Fest needs help this weekend from Saturday, June 29, through Sunday, June 30. Volunteers can contact Ethel Preston at epreston@kpcw.org or visit www.kpcw.org and click on the Bikefest.

  • In addition, Park Silly Sunday Market, which runs every Sunday through Sept. 22, relies on volunteers to help with various set ups, takedowns and other stations throughout the days. Contact Jenny Zachry by emailing jenny@parksillysundaymarket.com or by calling (435) 901-9722 . People can sign up to volunteer by visiting www.parksillysundaymarket.com/apply/volunteers .
