'Dracula, the Musical' at the Kamas Theater
The Kamas Theater, 30 N. Main in Kamas, will present "Dracula, the Musical" from Oct. 24 through Nov. 2, except on Sundays. The performances on Monday through Thursday will begin at 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday performances will begin at 8 p.m. and there will be Saturday matinees at 3 p.m. "Dracula, the Musical" is based on Bram Stoker's timeless horror story with libretto written by John Cobb and music by composer Karrol Cobb, who will play the music live. The musical stars Tim Peay as Jonathon Harker and Michael Larsen as the evil nemesis, Dracula. Tickets cost $9 for adults, $7 for students and senior citizens and $6 for children ages 11 and younger. Utah Olympic Park Spooktacular
The Utah Olympic Park, 3419 Olympic Pkwy, at Kimball Junction, will transform itself into a Spooktacular playground with haunted rides, trick-or-treating and more on Friday, Oct. 25, and Saturday, Oct. 26, from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. Admission is free but activity tickets will be on sale. Celebrate the Spirits at the Newpark Plaza
Celebrate the Spirits with Basin Recreation on Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Newpark Plaza from noon until 3 p.m. The event will include costumed 10K, 5K, and 1-mile trick-or-treat run with candy stations sponsored by local businesses along the way.
