If you are looking for a unique spectator experience then this is the event for you the 2014 U.S. Cross Country Championships and the 2014 U.S. Paralympics Nordic Skiing Championships hosted by Soldier Hollow Resort, Jan. 2-10.

The U.S. Cross Country Championships is an important step for serious skiers 15 years and older. The top 500 skiers in the country will compete, including local athletes from the Park City Nordic Ski Club, Team Soldier Hollow, The Utah Nordic Alliance, and the Wasatch Nordic Ski Academy.

The U.S. Paralympics Championships features adaptive skiers who bypass physical challenges by using special equipment. Standing and sit ski athletes will compete in all scheduled races with the addition of a biathlon sprint race. This is a qualifying event for adaptive athletes looking to be named to the 2014 Paralympics Games Team.

Soldier Hollow, the 2002 Winter Olympic facility, is located in the Heber Valley within the Wasatch Mountain State Park. This is a spectator friendly facility offering easy access to the course.
