CANYONS RESORT

UTAH OLYMPIC PARK

The Utah Olympic Park is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. There are guided tours on the hour from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Museums are free to explore. SOLDIER HOLLOW

PARK CITY GOLF COURSE

The Park City Golf Course is open. Off-season rates are in effect until Memorial Day. The cost for a resident (living within the Park City School District boundaries) is $26 to play 18 holes, or $41 with a cart. For a non-resident, it's $30 for 18 holes, or $45 for a cart. WASATCH MOUNTAIN GOLF COURSE

The Lake Course and Mountain Course have opened for the season. The cost for 18 holes is $47 on weekdays, $49 on weekends and holidays with a cart and $33 on weekdays, $35 on weekends walking. For more information call 435-654-0532.

MOUNTAIN TRAILS

The drying process is nearly complete in Round Valley in preparation for cycling season. Mountain Trails reports that most trails in Round Valley are now ready to go. BASIN RECREATION

As of Tuesday, the following backcountry trails are still closed: Holly's Trail, Ridge Connector, Short Swing, Mid-mountain (all sections), Pinecone Ridge and Hunters Trail. All other trails are open, but some are still muddy. Please turn around if you encounter mud. Backcountry trail conditions reports will be updated regularly during mud season. WASATCH-CACHE NATIONAL FOREST

The Kamas Ranger District maintains several trails in the Uinta Mountains east of Kamas. The Mirror Lake Highway is currently closed, but the Utah Department of Transportation is working on preparing it for opening and it should be ready this weekend.
