PARK CITY MOUNTAIN RESORT

Park City Mountain Resort’s regular season began June 7. Hours for the base area and PayDay Lift are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Among the attractions now open are the Alpine Slide, ZipRider and Flying Eagle Zip lines, Alpine Coaster, climbing wall, Legacy Launcher, Little Miner’s Park and miniature golf. CANYONS RESORT

Canyons’ summer season began June 13. Ride the gondola to reach the Canyons Bike Park, with features for all skill levels, along with hiking and biking trails, Zip Tour adventures, disc golf, and an alpine lake with paddleboats and fishing. DEER VALLEY RESORT

UTAH OLYMPIC PARK

The Utah Olympic Park is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Activities including the signature Comet Bobsled ride, three new adventure courses, the new Drop Tower, as well as the existing zip lines, alpine slide and two museums. SOLDIER HOLLOW

PARK CITY GOLF CLUB

At the Park City Golf Club, the cost for a resident (living within the Park City School District boundaries) is $34 to play 18 holes, or $49 with a cart. WASATCH MOUNTAIN STATE PARK

This state park near Midway has facilities for hiking, biking, camping, horseback riding and camping as well as two 18-hole golf courses. The cost for 18 holes of golf is $33 on weekdays, $35 on weekends and holidays. Cart rental (18 holes) is $14. JORDANELLE STATE PARK

Located on Jordanelle Reservoir just east of Park City, Jordanelle State Park offers camping, boating, fishing and swimming. Hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Daily fees are $10 per car at Hailstone, $7 at Rock Cliff. However, the Rock Cliff boat ramp is closed. Annual passes are $75. For information call (435) 649-9540.

ROCKPORT STATE PARK

Rockport State Park offers boating, fishing, hiking and more. Located near Wanship, it is open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Costs are $9 for daily use or $75 for a season pass. Call (435) 336-2241 for more information.

MOUNTAIN TRAILS

BASIN RECREATION

Basin Rec reports that crews are working to clear fallen trees from the Mid Mountain and adjacent trails this week. All natural surface trails are open except Ridge Connector and Pinecone Ridge, which still have a lot of snow on them. WASATCH-CACHE NATIONAL FOREST

The Kamas Ranger District maintains trails and campgrounds in the Uinta Mountains east of Kamas. The campgrounds between Yellow Pine and Cobble Rest are open, as well as Mirror Lake, Lost Creek, Lilly Lake and Washington Lake. The Mirror Lake Highway is open to Evanston. There are still patches of snow at the higher elevations, and trails are muddy. The lakes are thawed and fishing is reported good. A rec day pass is $6 for 1-3 days of use, or $45 for an annual pass.
