Deer Valley Resort

Park City Mountain Resort



Park City Mountain Resort’s summer operations offer the Alpine Slide, ZipRider, Alpine Coaster, climbing wall, lift-served hiking and mountain biking, the human maze, the Legacy Launcher, miniature golf, Diggler Scooters, Little Miners Park and horseback riding. The Canyons Resort



The Canyons Resort’s summer operations include gondola rides, lift-served hiking and mountain biking, guided fly-fishing tours and hot air ballooning. Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. For more information, call 649-5400 or log onto http://www.the canyons.com.

Trail report

The trails are open for hiking and biking, but be sure to drink plenty of water! Mountain Trails is urging riders to please respect the signage on the Mid Mountain trail. The Colony has gone to great lengths to keep the trail open to users, but some are riding down White Pine Canyon. Mountain Trails is also urging participation in the bike, ride or bus to work on the last Friday of each month. For more information, log onto http://www.mountaintrails.org or call 649-6839.

Golfing

Park City Municipal Golf Course is open for the summer season. This year’s fees are $26 for 18 holes of golf for residents, $40 with a cart; for non-residents the cost is $43 for 18 holes and $57 with a cart. The pro shop is open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.; tee-time reservations are required. For more information, call 615-5800. Wasatch Golf Course’s fees are $37 for 18 holes with a cart on weekend days and $39 with a cart on weekends. Call the pro shop for a tee time at (435) 654-0532. Soldier Hollow Golf Course – Silver and Gold course: fees are $37 for 18 holes with a cart on weekdays and $39 with a cart on weekends. Wasatch-Cache National Forest

Mirror Lake Highway, S.R. 150, is open all the way through to Evanston, Wyo. All campgrounds are now open for use. Rangers urge campers to use caution when smoking or having fires due to high fire danger. For more information, contact the Kamas Ranger District at (435) 783-4338.

Fire Restrictions

There are currently no fire restrictions in northern Utah. Although the holidays have passed, there is still a statewide ban on fireworks in all forested areas. Officials would like to remind users to still be diligent in their use of fire. For more information, visit http://www.utahfireinfo.gov.
