Update of Jenni’s Trail at Park City Mountain
Due to continued EPA and United Park City Mines work, along with installation of new snowmaking lines in the Treasure Hollow area of the Resort, there will be an interruption of Jenni’s Trail between Upper Loose Moose and Mid Mountain for the majority of the summer season. The same reroute that was used during the trail work last year will be used again and the reroute will be indicated at appropriate trail intersections. Updates will be made as they become available regarding reopening the trail. Thank you for your cooperation in adhering to this reroute to ensure safety to all riders and hikers.

Fit for Summer Sale at Basin Recreation
A three-month sale is available at Basin Recreation Fieldhouse from now until June 30. An individual pass costs $90, while a couple pass would run for $165. Students, seniors and military members can purchase a pass for $80. Also available in the deal is the option to add unlimited fitness classes to the pass. The sale is limited to one pass per person.

Aquafit Super Saturday
The PC MARC is offering a free session of Aquafit on Saturday, June 3, from 8:30-9:30 a.m. It promises to be a fun way to discover this low impact, high-energy strength and cardio workout in the leisure pool. Youth & Adult Karate
The PC MARC is offering sessions of Youth and Adult Karate from May 30 to June 29. It’s a great way to improve fitness, confidence and focus. Adult sessions are for those 14 and over and take place on Mondays and Wednesdays, 6-7 p.m. Youth sessions are available for ages 4 and older, class schedules vary. Basin Recreation Ultimate Frisbee League
Basin Recreation’s Summer Ultimate Frisbee League is back. This coed league runs June 11 through July 16, featuring a regular-season schedule and tournament finish. Games will be played on Thursday and Sunday evenings. All players receive a team shirt. Drop-in to orientation night on June 1 or June 4 at Willow Creek Park to check it out. Register individually for $30 and be drafted to a team. Basin Rec Ultimate discs are available for $10 when you register. Park City Golf Club Junior Golf Camps
These clinic-style camps will cover all areas of the game of golf. Each clinic includes safety, grip, stance, putting, chipping, full swing, course etiquette and rules. Golf clubs will be furnished if needed. Each camp is four days including a Play Day. The play day includes a lunch following play on the golf course. Camp One is from June 12-15 and Camp Two is from June 19-22. Both camps will run from 9 a.m. to noon. Fee is $165 per session. Call 435-615-5800 for information.

Trailside Trilogy Challenge
Basin Recreation is hosting the Second Annual Trailside Trilogy Challenge on Saturday, June 3, at Trailside Disc Golf Course. Shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. Pre-register for $30 or $35 day-of and competitors will receive a player’s kit including a Driver, Mid-Range and Putting Disc to keep. These three discs are the only discs allowed during tournament play. Open, General and Women’s Divisions are available. For more information or to register, visit http://www.basinrecreation.org. First Aid/CPR Course
Make sure you are prepared when an emergency happens by learning First Aid, CPR and AED Skills with Park City Recreation’s one-day course. National Safety Council Instructors will lead the session for those 15 and older on Monday, June 5, from 5:30-10 p.m. at the PC MARC. The fee is $60. Park City Soccer Club Tryouts
The Park City Soccer Club is hosting tryouts for girls and boys interested in playing competitive club soccer during the 2017-18 program year. Affiliated with Utah Youth Soccer Association, PCSC offers teams for players 7 to 19 years of age. The program year runs June through May, with league play scheduled throughout the fall and spring months. High-school-age athletes play an abbreviated annual schedule. Tryouts will be held May 22 – June 2 at Trailside Park and pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Basin Recreation is getting ready for summer, so it’s time to sign up for summer camps. Join us for a day, a week, or the whole summer for new and classic Basin Recreation adventures. Be sure to check out our most popular camps like our H20 Adventure, tennis and mountain bike. And don’t miss out on our new Teen Adventure Tuesdays for the older camper. StART of Summer T-Shirt Contest
This month, Basin Recreation’s StART of Summer t-shirt contest returns for kids aged from 7 to 13 years. Those wanting to participate have until May 31 to come up with and submit original works of art to go on Basin Rec’s Start of Summer Color Run T-shirts. Turn in a masterpiece to the Basin Recreation Admin Office (5715 Trailside Dive) or email sam@basinrecreation.org. The most fun and creative design will be picked on June 1. Archery Classes
Come see what the archery resurgence is all about. The NASP certified staff will teach everything participants need to know about safely hitting a bullseye. Equipment is provided and safety and technique will be taught at the PC MARC, May 10 to June 7 on Monday and Wednesday afternoons. Sessions are offered for ages 10 to 11, and 12 to adult. Wasatch Ladies Golf Association
Play golf with a fun bunch of ladies every Tuesday morning May through September. Annual fee is $30, plus green fees. Most play is at Wasatch Golf Course and occasionally at Soldier Hollow. Traditional tournaments and some fun handicapped, games as well. Golfers of all ability levels welcome, as well as new members. This is an 18-hole league. Trailside Disc Golf Course
Basin Recreation’s Trailside Disc Golf Course is the only free year-round disc golf course in the area. Spring is here and it’s time to hit the links…chain links! Come check out the latest addition to Trailside Park and enjoy a fun round of disc golf while soaking up the great views and exercise. Whether you’re new to the sport or an old vet chasing that first ace, this nine-hole course has something for everyone. No discs, no problem. Drop-In Pickleball
Basin Recreation hosts free Drop-In Pickleball at Trailside Park every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30-11:30 a.m. There are four lined courts setup each day. There is always a playing rotation so that no one is left out or sitting for too long. Pickleball is a great fun for anyone looking for sunshine, exercise and friendly competition. Basin Recreation Youth Fall Soccer
Basin Recreation’s Youth Fall Soccer program for players as young as 4 years old up to ninth-graders will begin the week of August 21. Cost is $70, but register before July 15 and receive the early-bird discount. Each registrant will receive a complimentary season pass to Real Monarchs games at Rio Tinto Stadium all summer long. Stay tuned for more information regarding our preseason player and coach clinics. This program is dependent on volunteer coaches, so please consider sharing your time and knowledge. Parent/Kid and All-Girl Skateboard Clinics
PC Recreation offers instructional skateboard clinics for kids and their parents and all girls at the Park City Skate Park on Sundays, May 7 to May 28. PC Recreation Summer Program Registration
The new edition of Play Magazine, Park City Recreation’s digital resource for youth and adult recreation offerings is now available online. Registration for all summer programs opens on April 1. Free PC MARC Admission for Students
During the school year students 6-18 years of age are invited to participate in a wealth of activities at the PC MARC for free when presenting student I.D. Monday – Friday from 2-4 p.m. Activities are unsupervised and include ping pong, gaga ball, the basketball gym, teen area and more. Ages 8 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult. Youth Scholarships
Park City Recreation offers scholarships for youth recreation programs. Qualifying applicants can receive at least 50 percent off program fees. The upcoming spring/summer season has something for every age group; soccer, tennis, swimming, camps, skate, dirt jump and more. Cardio Tennis Offerings at the PC MARC
Add an exciting new element to your workout by combining the cardio of tennis with the strength benefits of TRX. The PC MARC is offering both Cardio Tennis and Cardio TRX Tennis designed to improve fitness on and off the court. The high-energy, full-body workout is perfect, whether or not you are a tennis player. Classes are held Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
