All Resort Open House

All Resort Group is scheduled to host the "Fleet and Fur" Open House, an event where community members are invited to see All Resort Group's new vehicles and offices, Oct. 2 from 4 to 7 p.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit Friends of Animals. The open house will include adoptable animals, tours of the new location, prizes and giveaways and hors d'oeuvres and cocktails. All Resort Group will host the event at their offices located at 1500 Kearns Blvd., Suite F300.

Healthy Happy Human Beings

Healthy Happy Human Beings (H3BE)TM is scheduled to host an event, a screening of the "People v. The State of Illusion," Oct. 5 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Utah Olympic Park Theater. H3BE will be showing the film and hosting the producer and courtroom lawyer, Austin Vickers, for a keynote speech and Q&A following the movie. The film questions the nature of reality, and through an examination of our perceptions, beliefs, and imagination. Prescription Drug Take-Back Day

Utah Governor Gary R. Herbert and Francine Giani, Executive Director of the Utah Department of Commerce made a public service announcement to highlight and promote the statewide "Prescription Drug Take Back Day" Saturday Sept.

29. TV spots will be running on all local Utah television stations as well as cable television to alert the public about the event to protect public health. Utah citizens can find a drug disposal site near them by logging onto www.useonlyasdirected.org and entering their zip code or location to find a convenient event location. Locations can also be found by calling toll-free 1-800-456-7707. Statewide disposal sites will accept drugs between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Summit County locations include the Park City Police Department and the Summit County Justice Center. Saturday, September 29, 2012. Law enforcement personnel and prevention specialists will also be on hand to answer questions and concerns.
