The Park City Chamber/Bureau invites the community to kick off the winter season by attending their annual Winter Rendezvous Expo and Mixer on Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Park City Mountain Resort's Legacy Lodge.
According to a press release, the purpose is to get to know the local businesses and fellow citizens who make Park City a much-loved winter destination and learn what's new this season with winter activities and entertainment. There will be free food and drinks with a cash bar, and no RSVP is required.
High West named one of best après ski scenes
High West Distillery and Saloon was recently named one of the "World's Best Apres-Ski Scenes" by the travel service and magazine Jet Setter. According to a press release, Jet Setter hailed High West for its gourmet food and drinks and its distinct location in a 100-year-old former livery stable in the heart of Park City's downtown district.
The distillery and saloon, which was awarded a James Beard award in February and remains the planet's only ski-in gastro-distillery, was one of just seven destinations to earn the recognition, and one of only two from the United States, according to the release.
Investment Survival workshop lunch
According to a press release, a local top-ranked fund manager will share successful strategies in 90 minutes that promise to be your best return on investment all year. No products or services are being sold at the workshop, and it will simply be a learning experience.
