Park City Coffee Roasters seals deal with Intermountain
Park City Coffee Roasters announced this week that it will now be the main coffee wholesale provider for Intermountain Healthcare based out of Salt Lake City. It was one of five coffee companies to compete for the exclusive five-year contractual relationship.
The coffee company will provide organically-certified products fairly traded through TransFair USA. The flagship shop is located at 1680 W. Ute Blvd. in Kimball Junction.
Freebirds donates to Canines with a Cause
Freebirds World Burrito, located at Kimball Junction, held a fundraiser last month for Summit County's Canines with a Cause, a nonprofit organization that helps shelter dogs find homes by training them to work as companion, therapy and service dogs for veterans in need.
The charity day, held on March 22, helped the burrito shop raise $750, which they presented to Canines with a Cause earlier this week. The fundraiser was held as part of the company's WORLD WORKS charitable arm.
'Savor the Summit' returns in June
The Park City Area Restaurant Association has announced it is now accepting reservations for its annual Savor the Summit on Main Street on Saturday, June 21. More than a dozen of Park City's renowned restaurants will offer their choices of dinner and drinks, with menu prices ranging from $50 to $150 per person.
The event will also feature a Spirit Garden serving local wine and beer at the intersection of Heber Avenue and Main Street with a live musical performance presented by Mountain Town Music. For the list of restaurants participating or to reserve a seat, visit www.savorthesummit.com.
