The Park Record welcomes letters to the editor on any subject. We ask that the letters adhere to the following guidelines: They must include the home (street) address, telephone number (day and night, if different) of the author. No letter will be published under an assumed name. Letters must not contain libelous material. Letters should be no longer than about 300 words (about 600 words for guest editorials) and should, if possible, be typed. We reserve the right to edit letters if they are too long of if they contain statements that are unnecessarily offensive or obscene. Writers are limited to one letter every seven days. Letters thanking event sponsors can list no more than six individuals and/or businesses. Letters are printed on a first-come first-serve basis. Please send letters to: email@example.com.
editorials are limited to 600 words and must be signed. We
generally publish no more than two Guest Editorials per edition and
some submissions may be edited down to fit within the letter format.

Obituaries, weddings, anniversaries, and birth announcements
Announcements must be finalized and submitted by 10:00 a.m. on Monday for Wednesday's paper, and by 10:00 a.m. Thursday for Saturday's paper. To purchase a space for obituary, wedding, anniversary, and birth announcements, please contact email@example.com.

Sports stories and scores

Submit a Photo
need to be submitted in .jpeg format and be at least 400 pixels
wide. You must obtain the photographer's permission to publish the
image. Please include the names of everyone pictured as well as when
