PCHS take National Merit Scholarships
Park City High School students John Rumburg and Brett Armstrong have been named Commended Students in the 2013 National Merit Scholarship Program. A Letter of Commendation from the school and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, which conducts the program, will be presented the principal and the two high school seniors. The National Merit Scholarship Program is an academic competition for recognition and scholarships. The award recognizes Rumburg and Armstrong for topping scores in the 2011 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. Roughly 34,000 students throughout the country are being recognized for placing in the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who took the test last year.
South Summit Blood Drive
The South Summit Interact Club will be taking blood donations on Tuesday, Oct. 9 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the small gym at the South Summit High School.
