The Park City Board of Education is extending the application period for school administration to join the committee searching for a new superintendent. Community members are currently being selected and will be notified later this week. Those selected will help the district find a candidate, and any interested community members are asked to submit a letter with background information and a brief statement on why they are applying to serve the committee. Information should be submitted to the board secretary, Lorie Pearce at email@example.com.
The Park City School District is scheduled to host a number of elementary school science fairs, where grade school students will display months of work on their projects. The fairs are a part of STEM education, a program working to develop opportunities for K-12 students in science, math, engineering and technology. PCSD students have opportunities both within the school day and after school to engage in a wide range of STEM activities. The Science Fair dates are scheduled to be held on the following days:
Jan. 24 - Jeremy Ranch
Jan. 29 - McPolin
Jan. 30 - Parley's Park
Jan. 31 - Trailside
Feb. 12 - District Fair
