Interact car wash fundraiser
The Interact Club from Park City High School will host its annual car wash fundraiser on May 19 in front of Domino's Pizza at the intersection of Kearns Boulevard and State Road 224 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The money raised will help fund the group's humanitarian trip to Guatemala next winter.
Mother's Day Sandy Hook fundraiser
The Park City Foundation is asking parents and students to consider donating $10 to help 26 Newtown families who lost loved ones in the Sandy Hook Elementary tragedy earlier this year. Children will be taking home Mother's Day cards to parents, not as gifts, but in hopes of returning them to Park City schools with donations. The foundation's mission is to provide a respite trip for families to relax and enjoy Park City later this year. The Park City Newtown Respite Effort is a Park City Community Foundation project; therefore all donations are tax deductible. For more information visit www.pcnewtown.com .
