College scholarship deadline approaching

According to a press release from the Daniels Scholarship Program, the deadline is approaching for college-bound high school seniors in Utah to apply for the scholarships. They must apply by Nov. 15 in order to be held in consideration.

EATS organization planning meeting

According to a press release from Trailside Elementary School, EATS is a community-based organization working in partnership with the Park City Child Nutrition Services to promote and educate kids on healthy eating.

WSS graduate enrolls at Colby College

According to a press release from Colby College, Kieran A. Adams has enrolled at the school located in Waterville, Maine. He is a graduate of the Winter Sports School and son of Michael and Ellen Adams of Park City.

The Class of 2017 was Colby's most selective to date, with an acceptance rate of only 26 percent. Founded in 1813, Colby College is the 12th-oldest independent liberal arts college in the nation and currently enrolls 1,863 students.
