Park City Community Education is offering a class on Nordic Ski Waxing to take the mystery out of wax. Tom Noaker, regional Toko representative, will teach the fundamentals of glide and kick waxing.Discounted waxes will be available to purchase at this one-day clinic. The class is Tuesday, Nov. 8, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Treasure Mountain International School and costs $24. Archaeology class The Utah Division of State History is offering a free archaeology class. The one-day class offered by the antiquities section of the division is Nov. 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will cover Utah archaeology, including the different prehistoric cultures of the state and information on how the public can become involved. The course will be taught by Assistant State Archaeologist Ron Rood at the Rio Grande Depot, 300 S. Rio Grande St., Salt Lake City. Advance registration is required, and space is limited. To register, contact Ron at (801) 533-3564. D and D game day Worldwide Dungeons and Dragons Game Day is Nov. 5. Join the fracas defeating fiendish monsters, overcoming diabolical traps, and swapping heroic stories. The closest participating store is Hobby Games at 3333 Big Hollow Road in Heber City. ESL class Park City School District is holding English as a second language classes on Mondays and Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Classes run all year, and new students can register any night by arriving 15 minutes early.
