PARK CITY MOUNTAIN RESORT

CANYONS RESORT

At Canyons, 11 of 19 lifts are open, along with 78 of 179 trails (22 groomed). The resort is reporting 94 inches of snow year to date, including 35 inches in the past eight days, with a 36-inch base at mid-mountain and a 48-inch base at the summit. DEER VALLEY RESORT

Deer Valley is reporting a 48-inch base, with four inches of snow in the past 72 hours. Eighteen of 21 lifts are open (only Mayflower, Sultan Express and Lady Morgan Express are still closed), serving 56 of 100 runs, of which 30 are groomed. UTAH OLYMPIC PARK

The Utah Olympic Park is open daily, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Guided tours on the hour from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Museums are free to explore. The winter Comet Bobsled Rides and Rocket Skeleton Rides are now open for the winter season. Bobsled rides are Tuesday through Saturday and Skeleton rides are Fridays and Saturdays. SOLDIER HOLLOW CROSS COUNTRY

Soldier Hollow, near Midway, offers cross-country skiing for beginners to experts on the site of the 2002 Olympics. The trails are open daily from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. On Saturday, Dec. 22, Soldier Hollow expects to open 1.5 to 2 kilometers of trail. Soldier Hollow also has Utah's longest (1,200-foot) tubing lanes, which come with lift service, lights and a sound system. GORGOZA TUBING PARK

Gorgoza Park, owned and operated by Park City Mountain Resort, is scheduled to run from Dec. 1 through April 7. The scheduled hours of operation are: Saturday and Sunday, noon to 8 p.m.; Monday through Friday 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Extended holiday hours are as follows: Dec. 22 through Jan. 6, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Jan. 19 through 21, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Feb. 16 through 18, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Feb. 19 through 22, noon to 8 p.m.; April 5 through 7, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Regular-season ticket costs are: $8 for one ride, $22 for two hours and $33 for four hours.
